WHAT ARE CORJL VARIATIONS?

The Corjl Variations Feature works alongside the variations you offer for an item in your shop. For example, if you offer variations in your Etsy, WooCommerce, or Shopify* shop ( e.g. colors and sizes for an item), your customers will only see the design in Corjl that matches the variation selections they chose when purchasing. Additionally, you can customize your Instructions that will show along with the selected item.

HOW IT WORKS

First, you will need to create individual designs for each product variation, plus any instructions you want to include. For example, if you want to offer both a digital download for a design and a version you will print and ship, you will create two versions of the same design: one set for digital download, and one set for proof approval for you to print.
Second, assign them to a Corjl listing.
Third, connect your Corjl listing to your shop listing.
Fourth, edit the variations in your Corjl listings to match the appropriate design. Once you have opened up the Corjl listing page, follow the steps below to edit and assign the variations to each design.

How to Assign Variations to a Design in a Corjl Listing

STEP 1

To assign the correct variations to the designs, click the Edit Variations button found on the lower left of the page below the list of designs. The variations section will then show editable text boxes.

STEP 2

Click on the variation option box to select the correct variation to assign to each design (hold CTRL+Click to select multiple options). If you want the design to show in all orders no matter what variation is selected by the customer, select All Options. When you’re finished editing your variations, click Close Variations, and the assigned variations options will be displayed.

Click Save (upper RH side) to save all changes to the Corjl listing.

A Few More Things to Know

LIMITATION OF VARIATIONS (ETSY & SHOPIFY*)

Etsy allows up to two (2) variation options and Shopify* allows up to three (3).

REQUIRED PHYSICAL PRODUCT LISTING (ETSY)

Etsy requires items with variations to be listed as a Physical Product, even if you’re offering digital items as a variation.

UPDATING EXISTING VARIATIONS IN A CORJL LISTING

Variations in Corjl listings do not automatically update when you edit or make changes to those variations in your Shop listing. If you make any changes to your variations in your Shop listing (including spelling or capitalization changes) you will need to log into the matching Corjl listing and re-assign your variations or your customers may not receive their orders.
