Shopify Webhook

We now use webhooks with Corjl 1.0 to integrate with Shopify. See documentation here.

Make sure you have at least one Corjl listing linked to a Shopify item. This is a critical step for the testing phase later on. If you're unsure how to do this, please refer to our guide, "How to Connect a Shopify Listing to Corjl," available in the Corjl Knowledge Base.

DEVELOPER'S NOTE: This new integration is different from our previous standard Shopify Integration, which is still pending approval from the Shopify app team. Now, Corjl has a Shopify Webhook Listener. Shopify will notify Corjl of orders. Because this is only a listener, Variations won't work, because we are unable to query Shopify to fetch variation data.

Getting Started (<5 mins.)

  • In Corjl, navigate to your Account Settings
  • Select your profile in the top right-hand corner
  • Select "settings"
  • Navigate to the "Account Settings" tab
  • Click "UPDATE" under "Shopify Webhook"

Follow the remaining steps displayed in the pop-up

Steps 2-3 (<10 mins.)

STEP 1 - Input your Shopify webhook signing key into Corjl.

  • From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Notifications.
  • Scroll down to the Webhooks section.
  • At the bottom you will find your signing key for Shopify webhooks.
  • Copy the signing key and paste it in the field displayed at the bottom of the pop-up in Corjl
  • Continue to Step 2 and follow the remaining steps.

STEP 2 - Create Webhook

STEP 3 - Test!

Note: You need to have a listing attached to a Shopify item for the order processing to work prior to the "send test". The "Send Test" only verifies the connection.
